Geocache Description:

Some coordinate transforms, a little geometry, and some snooping around for this cache in a nice oak and beech forest in Watertown.

The Bring Your Best Friend caches by Catnap just happen to lie on a line with another dog-favorite park in Watertown. We've placed a cache in the oak grove in that park. To find this cache start by drawing a line between "Bring Your Best Friend" (GCEDC7) and the sequel "Bring Your Best Friend, Too" (GCJ0VG). Now, starting from "Bring Your Best Friend," walk along that straight line exactly 4,533 meters. Stop and look around. The cache is nearby. The line may not get you within your WAAS-enabled comfort zone of 3 centimeters, but trust your geosense and you'll find it soon enough (expect 20 meters in addition to the usual GPS noise).

This is a little park but it's a nice little forest with a mix of oaks and beech trees that is very pleasant on a crisp autumn day. While we placed the cache, the squirrels were adding a bit of adrenaline to the work by generating all manner of spurious muggle-like noises as they dug through the leaves in search of acorns.

The posted coordinates are a convenient parking lot, not the cache location
