Conservation land in Reading MA
This cache is in conservation land in Reading, MA. For those of you having trouble bushwacking into the nearby Cedar Swamp Bushwack cache, here's an easier one to grab, so don't go home empty handed. We set this up after having failed twice. Park on Rustic Lane for an easy walk down Haverhill St. to the cache.
The cache is initially loaded with a FTF prize along with other trinkets.

A.J. Schneider Woods is a 3 acre site located off of Haverhill Street, near the North Cedar Swamp. There is one entrance on Haverhill street near Rustic Lane. The land was acquired in 1969 and is one of the smaller conservation lands in Reading.
The area may be small, but it is suitable for a short hike. It takes approximately 30 minutes to hike the trails. The most interesting part of this land is the swamp land which is filled with different forms of plant life. The condition of the trails has deteriorated over the years and they are not maintained. Watch out for numerous trees which have fallen down across many of the trails.
There are many types of flora found here, including many different species of trees, ferns, berries, and flowers. This is also a great place for bird watching.
