"Concerning Hobbits" LOTR # I Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

Raynebeau: third strike! Keeps getting muggled at the final and the final approach is a bit much for me any more! Good luck if you decide to hide something here.

Geocache Description:

***** THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE ABOVE COORDINATES!!**** Instead you will discover an item that will give you the next coordinates and so on. There is also a first finder prize for that adventurous soul who completes this first.

Darkness is coming to the Shire but first we must celebrate Bilbo's 111st birthday as well as Frodo's 33rd.
(And Raynebeau's 2nd caching anniversary)

But beware, kind seeker, the darkness grows and dark riders are in the Shire spreading destruction. As Frodo and his small band begin their trek to return the ring you must follow their footsteps. The task ahead will involve much travel. Through woods and areas well traveled and up hills and mounts extreme.

The items you seek include two tags (over large dogtags?), a bit of whimsy (not telling though you'll know it when you find it) and the final cache in a HIGHLY CAMOED bison capsule(This REALLY doesn't look like a bison capsule...to get to the log think about how you get into a bison capsule and just do it. Don't remove all of the camo from it's spot, please). Depending on the season you might need specialized equipment. Also, in keeping with the title, every cache is at a level that can be reached by a Hobbit (or a hobbit standing on a rock).
*****June 6, 2009*****
I had to change the beginning of the cache and the type of cache at the final because of muggle activity....Bilbo made me---and we all know he has come under the power of the ring
