Easy mostly flat quarter mile hike (200 ft very gradual climb) along a trail, then a moderate descent of about 50 feet to the cache
This cache is located in the Pike County Park. The waypoints below give parking coordinates and a waypoint where the trail opens up into a clearing. (This might prove very useful when you're trying to find the trail back to the car.)
The cache is an Altoids tin covered with black tape. Bring your own pen/pencil. The only contents are the logbook, a geocoin and a FF prize. There's really no room for anything except the occasional coin or bug.
When you find the cache, you'll notice a man-made structure about 10 feet away. There's another, larger one just like it a few hundred meters upstream. If anyone knows what this is or why it was built, I'd love to hear the story.
The parking lot is about a tenth of a mile from the Delaware Valley Raptor Center. Follow this link to learn more: (visit link) They're only occasionally open to the public, but if they're having an open house it is well worth the time.
By the way, if you're also a photographer, don't forget your camera.
The Google map seems to indicate that the cache is across the creek. It isn't.
Finally, the hints are spoilers. Don't decode until the last minute, and only if you need to.
