"RESISTANCE IS
FUTILE"
To most science
fiction fans the phrase "resistance is futile" is well known.
The alien race "The Borg" almost destroyed humanity except for
the heroic actions of Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the USS
Enterprise.
The Borg were unstoppable as they marched across the universe.
Indeed resistance was futile as they assimilated countless species
over many eons.
Captain Picard defeated the Borg in two key battles, one in our
own solar system and the other in the past, just when man was
preparing for faster than light travel.
We have the same kind of force with us today; it’s called the
“Geocache”. They are out there in untold numbers calling to us,
resisting them is futile. As Geocachers we have to seek them out,
to find and uncover them. It is our mission in life. Resistance is
futile!
