In the area of the EIDEM Historical Farm, a park and history center of the City of Brooklyn Park, Department of Recreation and Parks. A very pleasant place to ponder our world!
Located outside the borders of the part of the farm where you'd normally pay to visit, within the broader park area.
The EIDEM HISTORICAL FARM is preserved as it might've been in the 1890-1910 era. Features a fabulous farm house, barns, other buildings and some residents like chickens, sheep and more.
In this pursuit you'll have the opportunity to study vintage farm machinery of the horse-drawn type.
Brooklyn Township, Section 4, 10 acres now, down from 120+ a century ago. Eidem neighbors had names like Hamilton, Dunning, Belzer, Blanchet, Schreiber, Killmer Goodrich and more.
Within Hennepin County, the township provided the home for the City of Brooklyn Park and Brooklyn Center.
