Walking Around The Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

-DeRock-: Greetings,

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. This cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable. Since there has been no update with maintenance plans from the cache owner I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting. If not, please pick up any remaining pieces/parts of the cache before they become geolitter.

Thank you,

-DeRock-

Deerfield County Park

Preview: This tranquil 590-acre park sidles up next to the Chippewa River and rolls through small hills. Two suspension bridges and one covered bridge cross the river, perfect for entertaining young children. The first half of the route closely follows the mellow River Trail, ideal for families. The second half rolls more pronouncedly along the Wildwood Pathway, a National Recreation Trail with narrow single-track and a log jump. Interconnecting trails, begging for exploration, crisscross the park. The park, an island of trees among farmland, is also extremely popular with hikers, so display your most courteous biking behavior. Tread: 1.4 miles of double track, 4.3 miles of wide and narrow single-track. So Stop Out and Talk A Walk
