Geocache Description:

This cache is located in an overgrown orchard between the school playground and private property. The terrain is flat and fairly easy to walk through.

The cache is in an ammo box. The original contents were small toys. We also hope to begin travel bugs here as student projects – especially at the beginning of the year. Our principal is happy to have this cache on our school property, but asks that visitors please be respectful of our safety concerns and avoid visiting the cache during school hours (roughly 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sept. – Mid June) If you must visit during this time, please check in at the school office.
(Travel Bug Info): Rose Glen School is in the town of Waukesha, on the outskirts of the city of Waukesha. About 60,000 people live in the city and about 9,000 people live in the town. The Fox River runs through Waukesha and is an important part of Waukesha’s history. Waukesha is famous for Spring Water. Spring Water from Waukesha county was piped to the World’s Fair in Chicago in the early 1890s. Light manufacturing provides about 1/4 of the jobs around Waukesha, though tourism is also an important industry throughout the county. There are several county parks and state parks and trails nearby. There are also several lakes for fishing and boating in Waukesha county.
