Geocache Description:

Meet and discuss technology over a cold beer or two.

Coordinates point to our venue Queens pub, Brugata 14, Oslo.
Geocachers get together to strut their gadgets, and drool over fellow geocachers nifty toys.
There has been talk about having a repeat of the last Tech & Beer for while. For some this might be Deja Vu, but we hope to see some new people, and new cool gadgets this year. Come, bring your toys, and get inspiration for things to put on Santas wish list.
Bring your laptop, and any gizmo(s) you like.
Time: ca. 18:00 - 21:00
  • 18:00 - Guests can arrive with food if they wish. Smalltalk and eating indian takeaway etc.
  • 19:00 - Presentations ( please arrive before this )
    - hbrx - GC tricks with GSAK and OziExplorer.
    - me - GC and Linux.
  • 20:00 - GC quiz with prizes
    - TB / gift exchange
  • 21:00 - have another beer, blind the bartender with LED flashlights etc.
  • -00:00 last sleeping guest gets thrown out.
We will have an impromptu gift exchange. IMPORTANT: Bring either a TB, a "nice" GC tradeble item or something completely outragous - in gift wrapping.
