This is a night cache and will require a powerful torch with fully charged batteries - some markers are 100ft apart.

Please do not attempt this cache 2 hours either side of high tide. Check HERE before you do this cache.

A circular 2 mile stroll, very family friendly with the appropriate preparation and equipment - there's even a nice pub on the route.

You MUST have a powerful torch and spare batteries, the walk could take an hour. Read the warning signs carefully once you get to the beach - you may need the information later!

Park at the headline coordinates and with the church in front of you follow the path to the left (shown in red - see map below) "signed Baker Slade" identified with reflective markers. This is the preferred route as the path at the rear of the graveyard is pending closure, although the markers are still in place.



Turning right towards the beach follow the markers, remaining on public footpaths. Once on the beach you need to turn left and follow the markers.

At every post on the beach you will need to check for red/orange markers. When you see them this is the point you leave the beach. Look for white markers in dunes as the footpath sign has long gone, but the path is obvious when you see it.

You will have pretty unlucky to miss the way off the beach!

Look carefully en route for a cluster of 3 to 4 white markers on the right hand side of the path - if you miss them, you'll miss the cache and end up back at the car empty handed!!
