Cache is located at rear of but not within NYS Battleground Park at south end of Lake George, east of Warren County bike path. Depending on direction of approach, only terrain issue could be a steep embankment.
Cache can be accessed from State Park day use area or County bike path . Parking is available at State Beach. Fee during season but free rest of year. Caution, bike traffic can be heavy and fast in this downhill stretch! Accurate fix could be difficult with leaf cover. Container is ammo box. Will require digging and may be frozen in place in winter.
