Great views at a local neighborhood park.
After a quick lunchtime cache, we explored this neighborhood and
ended up in this clean, well maintained park. I had never been
here, and very much enjoyed the panoramic view of the bayou with
the pelicans swooping in low, and only the sounds of the water
softly lapping at the sand. Feel free to bring a lunch to enjoy
here. In the warmer months, bring your swimsuit as well. Park hours
are from 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset.
