I have been a member of Youngers Creek Baptist Church since I was a teenager and have always loved the way this church and this cemetery sit nestled in this small community in hills.
Walking among the headstones brings back memory’s of friends I knew in school. Among them are the Wiseman’s, Adam's and Gooden’s as well as and old friend of mine who’s life was cut short when she joined the Army not long after graduation. While in basic training she had a heart problem and now resides here among the knobs.
The original church was established in 1829 in a wood frame building located near the current brick building built in 1974
