Geocache Description:

This cache is in the vacinity of Danes Hill Lakes nature reserve.

The cache is located along the public footpath which runs along side the main Kings Cross to Edinburgh railway line. This footpath runs between the lakes and the church at Sutton-cum-Lound village.

The name of the cache refers to the area, the association to the railway line, and one of my fondest early memories in this area, watching the Flying Scotsman pass by at speed on it's way to York, what a sight !!

The cache container is a small 200ml airtight food container, containing log book, pen, welcome note and room enough for small travel bugs and geocoins

IMPORTANT: The cache is located on the footpath side of the railway line fencing. Under no circumstances should you cross over that fencing at any point, it is both reckless and un-neccessary in order to find this cache. Please ensure children also don't wander, as there are gaps in the old farm fencing where they could stray into danger.
