Ivy's Secret Hideaway Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

StephenTravels: Unfortunately, the container has indeed gone missing. I don't really have the time to make a replacement and since I'm in Seattle now for most of the year, making maintenance runs in Oak Town has gotten more difficult.

On the bright side, there is now some fine "real estate" open up here for a new cache if anyone wants to put one up. It's a great spot :) Thanks all for visiting!

Geocache Description:

This cache is named after my good friend Ivane [E-Vane] Merto, who brought me up here and showed me this great place. This cache is dedicated to her. =)

In a little known viewpoint park that overlooks Oak Harbor.

Victory Park lies on the outer edge of what used to be base housing (now open to civilians). Sitting on a hill above the public library, the views are outstanding. On a clear day, one can see the Olympic Mountains, the Cascades, the city of Oak Harbor, the Seaplane Base, and far off into the distance lies Mt. Rainier.

I would recommend parking at the library and making your way up the hill after finding "This Cache Rocks!" Be sure to place the cache back carefully and enjoy the view!
