SILKEN WAY

 

 

The title of this cache is actually an anagram of the location. From this cache the sound of the traffic on the M6 Motorway can clearly be heard.

 

The co ordinates supplied are not for the micro or the cache.

 

You will need to have a little knowledge of motorways to work out the co ordinates for the first stage which is a micro.

 

M - -    The south coast route running from Cadnam, west of Southampton, to Portsmouth. = A

 

M - - , a short spur from the M1 to St Albans, Take Away  the M -  linking Southampton and London, and you are left with  _.     = B

 

M - -  a short link between the M25 at Sevenoaks and the M20 before Maidstone = C

 

 

Second number in the Motorway linking London (Coulsdon) to beyond Crawley.  = D

 

Second number minus 1 of the Severn Bridgemotorway, linking Thornbury and Newport, Monmouthshire over the River Severn. This used to be the M4 before the Second Severn Crossing was built.  =  E

 

Reverse the numbers inthe Motorwaylinking Chester and Birkenhead.   = F

 

An easy one this! M - , the eastern north-south motorway linking London and Leeds and continuing north to the A1. The first inter-urban motorway.    = G

 

Now use your answers to complete the co ordinates for the first stage of this cache which is a micro. N52 A.BC W001 DE.FG

 

The final cache is a medium sized air and watertight food container.
