Cache is located at the NASA Visitor Center at Wallops Flight Facility - outside the fence.
I had great plans for this cache, but they were somewhat hindered by the desire of management to keep the cache outside the fence. They didn't want someone going on a commando raid into the facility when they weren't open, and they also didn't want the cache to be unavailable for short trippers since the center isn't open every day.
Anyway....
The NASA Wallops Flight Facility Visitor Center is on the way to Chincoteague. Visitors can enjoy exhibits, videos, hands-on displays and a rooftop observation deck. Saturdays and Sundays they present "Puppets in Space" at 11AM. On Sundays there is a program called "Living in Space" at 1PM and there is a model rocket launch 1st Saturdays (March - November) at 1PM.
Come find the cache and, afterwards, feel free to tour the facilities. The facility has numerous rockets on display outside and some nice exhibits inside. There are activities for the younger crowd as well. If you are coming from Chincoteague, please oh please do not turn left into the Center - use the right hand turn-off to cross the road. This highway is a killer - literally.
Always open from 10AM to 4PM.

The cache is stocked with lots of stuff: some NASA meatball logo stickers and a bunch of kid-friendly items.
