Geocache Description:


This cache is on National Forest Service Property and meets the Forest Services guidelines for cache placement. Parking is on Forest road #116 @ N41 39.701 W079 13.564. We first came to this parking area a little over a year ago on our way to our 500th find, Minister Creek Boiler Cache. On the way back to the Geomobile we talked of what a nice walk this was and how there should be other caches in this area. We stopped back a few weeks later and placed a few caches to bring others to this nice area. One year has passed. We are archiving those caches and replacing them with new ones to enjoy.

We placed the prior cache in this area to celebrate our anniversary. Another year has passed, and we recently celebrated our 17th anniversary. The cache is nestled in a small grove of hemlocks. There are many hemlocks in the area and quite a few of these small stands. When you are seeking the cache, please take time to enjoy the area. We have spent many days during our years together walking and hiking in the Allegheny National Forest. We hope you enjoy your time in the forest as much as we have enjoyed ours. This is a nice walk on a gentle, forest road. Hunting is allowed so please wear appropriate clothing during hunting season. If you havent been to the Boiler cache, this is a great opportunity to walk this road and find five caches on one hike. The container is a 30mm ammo can. We own a home in the area and are here frequently. We will be able to address any problems with the cache.
