Geocache Description:

This is a micro cache, sited by the dam of the Golden Acre Park lake, north of Leeds. It is a popular place and can be very busy.
Bring your own pencil.

Although this geo-cache is a traditional cache in its own right, it is also part of the Scouting Around series and it will provide one of the clues needed to find the Network cache.
You may wish to refer to that cache before visiting this one.

You will need to make a note of a word related to the Scouting section that the cache is named after which you will find on the underside of the lid of the cache and in the front of the logbook.
You will also need the words that can be found in these other caches:

Network

The other caches in the series are :-

Cub
Scout
Explorer

Scouting celebrates its centenary in 2007 and so this series of five caches has been set, one for each section, to help to celebrate this milestone. Beaver scouts celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2006.

Beaver Scouts are young people usually aged between six and eight years old. They belong to the first and youngest Section in the Scouting family. Young people can join Beaver Scouts in the three months leading up to their sixth birthday. They can move to the next Section, Cub Scouts, between eight and eight years six months.

Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, Beaver Scouts enjoy making friends, playing games, going on visits and helping others. They usually meet together once a week in a Beaver Scout Colony..

Thanks to Harrogate Hunters for the use of their idea.
