Geocache Description:

This is a small cache, sited near the end of a footpath. It can be very muddy.
There is no need to cross the fence into the quarry.
Although this geo-cache is a traditional cache in its own right, it is also part of the Scouting Around series and it will provide one of the clues needed to find the Network cache.
You may wish to refer to that cache before visiting this one.

You will need to make a note of a word related to the Scouting section that the cache is named after which you will find on the underside of the lid of the cache and in the front of the logbook.
You will also need the words that can be found in these other caches:

Network

The other caches in the series are :-

Beaver
Scout
Explorer

Scouting celebrates its centenary in 2007 and so this series of five caches has been set, one for each section, to help to celebrate this milestone. Cub scouts celebrated their 90th anniversary in 2006.

CubScouts are young people aged 8 to 10.5. Cubs are in the second section in the Scout Group. There are lots of fun things you can do as a Cub Scout. You will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. If you do them properly you will get a badge which you can wear on your uniform.
Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out. Sometimes you will be able to go camping with the rest of your Pack. This will mean you sleep in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities.

Thanks to Harrogate Hunters for the use of their idea.
