Geocache Description:

This is a medium sized cache, sited along a local footpath near to Eccup.

Although this geo-cache is a traditional cache in its own right, it is also part of the Scouting Around series and it will provide one of the clues needed to find the Network cache.
You may wish to refer to that cache before visiting this one.

You will need to make a note of a word related to the Scouting section that the cache is named after which you will find on the underside of the lid of the cache and in the front of the logbook.
You will also need the words that can be found in these other caches:

Network

The other caches in the series are :-

Beaver
Cub
Scout

Scouting celebrates its centenary in 2007 and so this series of five caches has been set, one for each section, to help to celebrate this milestone.
Explorer Scouts is one of the newest sections of the scouting family.

Explorer Scouts are young people, usually aged between 14 and 18 years old. They make up the fourth Section of the Scouting family. There are many types of Explorer Scout Units, some may be linked to your local Scout Group, and others may be based around different activities.

Not all Units meet each week, because you will often be out and about at weekends or in the holidays doing activities. There will be times when you will be busy doing other things such as exams, and being an Explorer Scout will have to fit around these.

Thanks to Harrogate Hunters for the use of their idea.
