Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the above location but can be found within 5 miles of the given co-ordinates. These are the lake at Harewood House and are only shown to position this cache in the correct area for searching.
Please feel free to email for a clue after posting a DNF

This cache is the final part of the Scouting Around multi-cache based north of Leeds. Four other caches need to be found before this one can be done.

When finding the cache look for marker posts and beware of nettles, brambles, over-hanging bushes, stepping stones, bridges, water and low-flying golf balls.

As you can see there are four groups of related words (Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer), each with five words. In order to choose the correct word in each group you will have to visit four caches.
Written inside the lid of each cache and also in the logbook is the correct word. The caches are:all in the Scouting Around Series

Beaver
Cub
Scout
Explorer

When you have all four words, take the appropriate lines from the groups above and substitute the letters in the co-ordinates for the numbers indicated.

Scouting celebrates its centenary in 2007 and so this series of five caches has been set, one for each section, to help to celebrate this milestone.
All members of The Scout Association between 18 and 25 years are members of the Scout Network. As a member of the Scout Network you could be:

· a member of a local Network
· a Leader with another Section
· a Helper of Skills Instructor
· a member of the Scout Active Support
· a member in another capacity .

Local Networks can be based at County, District or Group; some may be focused around a specific activity or location, e.g. Gang Show,
Activity Centre,
climbing or
canoeing.
Scout Network programmes will reflect the huge variation in Members' interests.
Some local Networks will have activities that concentrate on one area of the programme, whilst others will have a wider range. One of the key elements is the opportunity to get away, either under canvas or in other accommodation.

Good luck and happy hunting…

Thanks to Harrogate Hunters for the use of their idea.
