Geocache Description:


Decided to put an ammo can in place of my previous cache. Please park at The Islands guest parking located at N 39.48.863 W 086.18.143. Attempting to come in from the West side of the bridge is through private property. Please do not do this.

There is a steep, but walkable hill to start out and then a decent trail under the bridge and along the river. Even though there is a major road up above, Eagle Creek is still nice and tranquil down below. Please be careful in times after flooding as I am quite sure this area could be quite wet! The last few feet of the walk does require some bushwhacking even in the fall.

The cache is chalked full of all kinds of Christmas ornaments and assorted trinkets. You do not have to put anything Christmas in it. But it seemed appropriate with the time of year it is getting to be.
