A 2 litre clear tupperware container in a black outer cover.
Contains Log book, pens, rubber gloves, ziplock bags, some
antiseptic cream (for nettle stings) and a variety of other
goodies. The cache is not too difficult to find if you're looking
for it and, if the weather has been reasonably dry, it can be
attempted safely in business clothes. Please be careful and replace
the cache as you find it as muggles may approach the site from
several directions.
Less than a minute from Junction 22, this cache is handy for
Sainsbury's, M&S and a variety of other retail outlets
including Next, Boots, Monsoon & Starbucks. (It would also have
been suitable for the "Off Yer Trolley" series.) There’s
cheap petrol, a McDonalds and if you're looking for a nice pub try
the Green Dragon, Waterside, London Colney - a pleasant waterside
pub that serves good food (a short walk or an even shorter drive
from the cache).
There is a lot of parking available in the retail park, but you
can also access the cache by walking from the South over the
footbridge that crosses the M25 or from the North down the public
footpath from the Green Dragon.
YOU CAN NOW ACCESS THE PATH TO THE
CACHE SITE DIRECTLY FROM THE RETAIL STORE CAR PARK (AS THE LITTLE
FOOTPATH IN THE CORNER IS VERY OVERGROWN) - Co-ordinates for the
path entrance are N 51° 42.895 W 000° 17.103. THE
PUBLIC FOOTPATHS FROM THE SOUTH AND NORTH ARE STILL GOOD
ALTERNATIVES!
Please check out another local
Motorway “Cache & Dash” just a few miles east at
the M25 Junction 23 -
