This cache is located along the side of Bluefield City Park. It is a good climb up the side, and there is no marked trail. Although the Park is closed to vehicle traffic in the colder months, it is perfectly legal to park next to the Oreals baseball field and walk in the park, as many use the inner loop road for walking/jogging.
Due to our first cache being muggled, we have decided to go off the beaten path (literally)! This cache is off the road along the creek side of the park. It requires a short climb up the ridge to nab this one. The cache is in a painted 1 1/2 quart tall Lock & Lock container. It is mostly covered with ground litter. The original contents of cache include a mini first aid kit, travel checkers set, hand warmers, waterproof match holder, Whoopie cushion, frogs, & "flagulence" in a tub noise maker. Hope you enjoy the hunt, and hopefully a Geocacher will find it before a muggler this time!
