Geocache Description:

The cache is located within the little known Newtonville Town Park. I placed it to mark two unique anniversaries. First, to mark the 50th cache I found. Second, this is where my wife and I had our wedding pictures taken.





There is a short marked trail system within the park. There is also a picnic area, Gazebo and a pond. During the summer months, visitors are greeted by a fountain and various flowers & trees. Most been donated to the town through various groups and people.

Parking for this cache can be found at N42° 43.175 W 073° 45.397 and a you can find a sign showing the trails at N42° 43.148 W073° 45.430. This is behind the Colonie Town Hall (across from Siena College).

If caching in the dark, watch your footing. Depending on your route, there may be exposed roots.
