This is a camo rubbermaid container with several trade items.
As I was walking through this cemetary headed toward a likely point for the cache, I was impressed by the number of graves of service men: Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and National Guard. Many served in WWII, some in Korea, and others in Vietnam. This really struck a chord with me since it was just a few days before Veterans Day. Thinking of the sacrifices they made in their own lives to serve our country and the sacrifices of those left behind as they went off to war stirred within me a deep sense of gratitude for what has been called the "Greatest Generation". So I decided to dedicate this cache to those who have served, and are serving, our country. The cache is supplied with patriotic items; stickers, patches, a small flag, buttons, pencils, etc. If you see something you like, take it. Trade if you wish, but take something and wear it or display it in honor of those who served in the armed forces. Why not take a moment to offer a prayer of thanks for those who served so well, and for those who continue to go into harm's way so that freedom rings loud and clear throughout this land and the world. I hope you find this cache to be meaningful as well as fun.
By the way, I intended this cache to come on line on Veterans Day, but there were so many families putting out flowers for the days leading up to and including Veterans Day that I could not get in to hide it.
