Along a trail high above a ravine and a cement dam built in 1931. Beautiful section of woods.
Drive to the end of the pavement on Forest Hill Road, then drive 30 seconds further on the dirt road to the Conservation Lands parking lot. Walk down to the triangle-shaped road gate, continue straight for 150 meters, then at the (inconspicuous) intersection take the trail to the left that goes gently downhill. It's one kilometre from the parking coords to the cache, which is a 1.5 litre plastic jar containing a log book and various articles of swag. No bushwhacking required. The cache is just a few metres off the trail on the down side, but the slope can be tricky. You can go down to the dam and the small reservoir if you wish, but the path is VERY steep and can be slippery. Don't miss (How can you?!) the incredible view of the Minas Basin as you drive along Forest Hill Road.
