Geocache Description:

The El Dorado County Veterans Monument was dedicated on Veteran's Day, 2006, honoring all past, present, and future Veterans of the United States Armed Forces. This beautiful monument includes a 114-foot long Monument Wall, a Monument Plaza and a 112-foot long entrance graced by a life-sized bronze American eagle.

The cache is not located on the Monument grounds in respect for the site. It is located a short distance away, after you determine the answers by touring the Monument area. You must enter ABCDEF into certitude to get the final coords. The cache was originally placed by MarshallOD, a retired U.S. Coast Guard Senior Chief Quartermaster.

A. In the circular area of memorial bricks, find the one for LCDR Peter J. Wolfe, the monument's architecht. His years of service began in 19A2.
B. Find the plaque for Colonel Wray F. Sagaser. He was Commander of the B1st Tank Battalion.
C. Find the "El Dorado County Veterans Monument" plaque in the entrance. C = the number of monument founders.
North checksum = 13.

D. Find the Korean War memorial bench. The number of MIA was 817D.
E. Find the USS Missouri plaque. The longitude on the plaque is 13E degrees East.
F. Find the plaque honoring John Richard Rossi. The number shown on the airplane is 1F.
West checksum = 24.
