På Styrmansbergets finnes en borg som daterar sig ända från förromersk järnålder.. Borgen ingick i ett försvarssystem längs öns västkust. Vid fara tändes signaleld för att underrätta närliggande borgar, samt ge skydd för handelsplatsen och hamnen i Fröjel. Läs mer om dess historia på tavlan vid parkeringen. ( Se koordinaterna ) Sitt gärna ner på bänken en stund och njut utsikten mot Karlsöarna i väster . Boxen , liten, typ Pet-rör. Eng: At Styrmansberget is a castle which is from "before-roman iron-age". The castle is part of a defense system along the westcoast of Gotland. Read more about the story of Styrmannsberget on the notice board at the parking place (see the coordinates). Sit down on the bech and enjoy the view to Karlsöarna (the islands) in the west. The box is a Pet-tube.
