Grandpa's Treasure Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Jones_Crew: I finally got back down to this cache today. Our Dad/Grandpa passed away on October 18th, and I just have not been able to make myself go to his house. Today, two of my siblings and I went down to clean the house up. (My hubby, 14 year old son, and brother-in-law also helped out.) It was a difficult task, but it was made easier by being with all of them.
Sad to say...it is now time to close these caches that were here for him to enjoy. Dad liked to meet people as they came by, so this gave him a little bit more enjoyment in life. It was very nice to have my brother here so he could be the last official finder...LTF. [:(]
Rest in peace Daddy, I love you and miss you!

Geocache Description:

You can drive almost right up to the cache IF you have 4 wheel drive. You can get about 10 feet from it. It is not wheelchair accessible. The area may be muddy after rain and please do not try to access it if it is snowy/icy. Permission has been granted to place the cache here. *You WILL see a private property sign---it is ok*

My Father and his siblings grew up near by. I have many fond memories of playing near here and enjoyed placing this cache with my Father and daughter.
The old building accross the street used to be the post office for the area. I would love to hear any stories about it.
This small ammo box shouldn't be too hard to find.
