Geocache Description:

The cache can be found in the village of Goosnargh, home of the Goosnargh Cake (yuk!). On the outskirts of the village is Chingle Hall, built in 1620 which is reputed to be one of the most haunted houses in England. There are a number of shops including a Chippy, a general store, post office, 3 pubs, a school and the late medieval church of St.Mary the Virgin. To get to the cache follow the public footpath through the church yard.

The cache is a small plastic container with the usual things in it and a Geocaching pin badge for the first to find.

The cache is NOT in the church grounds, there is no need to disturb anything in this beautifully kept church yard.

WARNING keep your eye on the kids there is a sudden drop to a stream very near the cache.
