Nice view of a beautiful beach with a bench to sit and enjoy the
view.
This is a very beautiful, out of the way view of a small rocky
cove. At low tide there is a very small beach. Access to the beach
could be difficult. But sit and enjoy the view! Cache is a chamo
lock & lock. The parking near the site is VERY limited as this
is a dead end road leading directly to Davey Jones' Locker. There
is an alternate parking area just a short distance (about 0.4
miles) that you can walk from located at N 44° 18.235, W 124°
06.483. The walk takes you down Yachats Ocean Road and South along
US101. There is an easement along the West side of US101 that
allows you to avoid walking on the road shoulder. It does get a
little tricky crossing Gender Creek and you may have to use the
US101 shoulder to do so. Happy caching and enjoy the view!
