Geocache Description:

NOTE: Recent attempts to find the cache have been unsuccessful. It may have been unintentionally removed during a recent garden clean up :-( Further news when found or repositioned.

An urban cache, placed at First Unitarian Church of Hamilton (see link). The grounds are large enough that you need the GPS. The Church is effectively on an island, surrounded on 2 sides by railway tracks... There's no need to get close to them. In simple language the Unitarian Universalist 7th Principle is "We believe in caring for our planet earth, the home we share with all living things". Geocaching represents a fun way to put that belief into action.

The 7th Principle Church School Group is alternative to regular church school and meets outside throughout the year. I organized a couple cache finding expeditions and the children (10-12 in age) decided they wanted to place one and see who came to visit. We narrowly missed collecting the "Church Mouse" TB when it was in the area in September. The group was impressed on the distance the original Travel Bugs had ventured and are looking forward to tracking their further adventures.

The cache is in a large round container and includes a number of fun items, including a wood star puzzle, floating keychain and some 'Happy Face' items.

Be careful as when the leaves are down you could be "muggled" and make sure to re-hide it properly, please.
