Park at the Centerline parking lot in Hunters Creek Trails Park, head east, cross the bridge, then follow your GPS. You shouldn’t have a problem finding this tree, as it is one of the largest in the area. The reason it’s called the “aspirin” tree is found in the cache.
A whistle can be made of a twig selected in the spring when the outer bark is soft and can be rubbed off. After the twig is dry, cut a whistle hole in it just a little from the end, and hollow out an airspace from the hole to one end.
