Goldilocks Meets...Papa Bear Traditional Cache

A nice walk on paved or gravel path most of the way. The final approach leaves the paved/gravel path and crosses an arched concrete bridge.

There is a number in this cache. You will need to write the number down or make note of it in some way in order to gain access to Goldilocks' cache log (GCZF2C) hidden elsewhere near this park.

Papa Bear is a deep woods kinda bear! He's tough and gruff and likes hard chairs and big hard beds. His favorite napping place is the largest and the walk there is the longest of any in this little family! When you visit, your GPSr will have you wanting to bushwhack through the woods. You will be happier if you resist. Papa Bear wisely chose a longer but easier way. The last visitors were rewarded with a visit from Papa's friend: a large Hooting Owl that was watching over the approach.

You should be able to locate the entire family of bears (as well as secretive Goldilocks) in one fairly short outing. Make an afternoon of it and check out the other caches in the area: Spirit of America, End of the Canyon Cache, Hard Rock, and Beginning of Canyon Cache.
