I've recently seen something that I haven't seen all summer long
and then some. It definately brought a smile to my face and
immediately gave me the urge to go hide a cache. I felt some
re-vitalizing energy.
Sometimes you don't realize what you are missing until it's not
there.
These are some of the thoughts and names that went through my head
for a well deserved new cache:
Back in Action
Whoo Hoo!
631 ?!?!?
Corona II
Happy Camper
A Sight for Sore Eyes
ENFIA
This won't go down as one of my favorite hides. In fact, some may
say it's the mountain version of urban lamppost caches. However, it
may be a convenient spot to stop if you're heading up to the
mountains and need some good maps, a camp fire
permit, Sno-Park permit or WOOD CUTTING permit. I also don't
like to hide caches where you may need to use stealth to find them,
but this one may require some stealth depending on the time of day
and season. Of course I don't think you'll have to be too stealthy
at 3:30 in the morning
!
I get more excitement out of seeing who is the FTF on one of my
own caches than I do finding one on my own. However I was thinking
that the ones I plan on hiding in the next couple of months may not
have a finder until the winter is over which was discouraging me to
do so. Now I'm confident that won't be the case
so start looking for some NEW
caches that are more Scoobert-like than this one
.
The original placement of this one gave you a nice view of the
Weber Creek canyon below, but the District Ranger didn't like it.
So this will have to do instead. Please tuck the cache away as you
found it and if you're questioned, you're just checking out the
"free" maps
.
Have fun!
[Does anyone have a clue what I'm referring to?]
