Geocache Description:

You are looking for a 35mm film canister.

The park sits across the street from Fairlawn’s Police Station and includes a reflecting pond and water fountain, paved walkways and pleasant landscaping. The park was created in 1976 with a veteran’s memorial. In 1985 a gazebo was constructed, thanks to the Fairlawn City Women's Club. The park hosts special events such as the Akron Symphony Orchestra performances, fireworks displays and the summer concert. Parking is available next to the park. It is not necessary to step on any flowers retrieve the cache. Given the location of the cache stealth will be required. While the park is open during the evenings it not recommended that caching occur very late (e.g. after 9 P.M.) unless you want the attention of some Fairlawn’s finest. I would like to thank the Hiking Viking for providing me with some pointers and ideas for this and future caches.
