This cache is located at yet another one of those spots that you
could easily drive past heaps of times and not know was here. One
day when I was passing for work I decided to stop and check it out.
The plaque on the gate reads:
This plot was planted in the memory of
JOHN TURTON RIELY
Aged 20 years
1954 Ldg Sglmn R.N.Z.N
Missing Presumed Drowned
November 7 1944
In Navel Operations off Ostend
2nd World War 1939-45
"He gave the greatest gift of all, The gift of his unfinished
life"
The cache is a 1 litre camo painted snap lock container. As well as
the usual logging items contains an assortment of swaps for young
and old.
