Thanksgiving Picnic Traditional Cache

Usually empty picnic area high in the Santa Ritas. Have a bite while you do the several caches here in the East Elephant Head area.
The Smithsonian Observatory maintains this nicely arranged series of tables and BBQ's and rest facilities. We come here regularly and usually have it to ourselves.
The original cache placed on Thanksgiving 06 is gone, so we changed it to a micro and put it in a new place. When that disappeared, we replaced it with a full size cache in a more remote part of the picnic area. You do NOT need to go into the steep area leading down to the wash.
