Geocache Description:

The memorial park wetland is a Kloof Conservancy rehabilitation project.
This park is popular with the local residents and the conservancy decided to re-establish the wetland.
An environmental specialist (Richard Wynn) was commissioned to handle the project.
By not mowing the area and removal of aliens, the growth of indigenous species and natural wetland plants was encouraged.
To return and retain the moisture trenches was created to spread the moisture back to the outer limits. The trenches are now aquatic systems with a steep bank for crabs and moisture distribution and such things as dragonflies and possible hiding places for lizards.

Bring your kids and dogs along as this is a park for the whole family.

You will find a device in the cache which forms part of Twin Durban cache. (GC14B23)
There is Waymarkings at Memorial Park, see (Waymarking)
