Dawhoo!!! Welcome to Edisto Traditional Cache
Edisto Patto: Have tried several different types of hides here over the years but they seem to either get washed away or muggled so time to give up on this one. If I can come up with something ingenius for this location...will try again.

After crossing the "Big Bridge" over the intracoastal waterway you will find you have entered a new time dimension: The Edislow Zone
Whether this is your first time to Edisto or you have been coming here for years, stop and enjoy the sights at the Dawhoo Boat Landing. In the shadow of the “big bridge”, you will find a place to fish, launch a boat, picnic, bird watch and now find a cache.
What is left of the old bridge has been converted to a fishing pier. Take your binoculars and see if you can spot one or more of the bald eagles that love to perch on the electrical towers crossing the ICW. Look out across the marshes for herons, egrets, osprey and other waterfowl that frequent the area. There are also a couple of nice picnic tables.
I was going to put the cache out in the marsh a ways to satisfy the intepid pluff mud stompers in the area but decided to give the visiting cachers a break and it is within reach on solid ground—no bushwhacking or mucking through the mud is needed. As a result it is in a very open area and much stealth will be required to retrieve it if there are muggles about. It is not usually a terribly busy boatlanding. I pretended to be picking up trash as I was placing the container in its spot.

6/4/10 Replaced cache---now a decon container. Please make sure it is well hidden when you replace.
It is only a few feet from where the ammo can had been hidden so I am not changing the co-ordinates.
