Boy are You Umbday! Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

New York Admin: Groundspeak has been contacted by the president of the Hudson Mohawk Bird Club, Inc in regards to the caches in Rist Wildlife Sanctuary. They were unaware any geocaches were within Rist and asked that they all be removed. The President of HMBC states "as you may know, the Reist Sanctuary is a bird sanctuary for scientific and educational purposes. The Reist has been set aside to preserve habitat, to allow breeding birds proper environments and it is a place for ongoing biological studies. Geocaching would not be in alignment with these purposes. "

I am archiving all geocaches within Rist at their request. Please remove your cache at your earliest convenience.

Just for miniwhip and others: This sanctuary is open from Dawn 'till Dusk.

This one goes out to all the knuckleheads out there. I know, the typical response to the Three Stooges is either “I Love them!” or “I hate them.”

Love ‘em or hate ‘em, here goes:

In the short, “Tassels in the Air” Moe and Larry are speaking Pig Latin. Curly…being Curly…is out of the loop and asks Moe what he’s saying. Here’s the exchange:

Moe: "That's pig Latin."
Larry: "Sure, anybody can understand it. It's very simple."
Curly: "Well I can't, and I'm simple."

Moe: "My name is Moe. In pig Latin, that's Oh-may."
Larry: "My name is Larry. Now, what's that in pig Latin?"
Curly (guessing): "Oh-may?"
Larry (annoyed): "It's Arry-lay."
Moe: "Boy, are you um-day."
Curly (excited): "Oh, you mean I'm um-day in pig language?"
Moe: "You're um-day in any language."

Moe: "Now I'll explain it so even you can understand it."
(Curly faces Moe, resting his head languidly on his hands. Moe slaps him.)

Moe: "Moe--Omay. Larry--Arry-lay. Curly--"
Curly: "Curly-cue!"
(Moe starts to chase Curly around the room.)
