thequeenbee: Sadly, it’s time for this cache to be retired. After seeing the severe vandalism that happened here, I contacted City officials but seriously doubt that things will be repaired or restored. I don’t see any alternative hiding locations nearby that I like and some heavy-duty CITO is badly needed.

Geocache Description:

Located not far from scenic Waikiki.You can hit the beaches, catch some waves, get some sun, shop, go sightseeing and best of all find this cache! There is also another cache nearby that you can find: GC6F0C- Life Is But A Dream

First you will need to find the wooden surfboard filled with historical information about the Queen and this landmark. Once you learn about what this area used to be, it's time to go surf for the cache! (No surfboard, catching a wave or getting your feet wet is required).

This is a micro container so you need to bring a pen to sign the log. This path is often very busy, so look in all directions before retrieving and replacing the cache, since muggles may sneak up behind you. When putting back the cache, please secure it back well and give it a "GOOD PUSH SO THE CACHE DOESN'T COME OUT OF ITS HIDE", you will know why when you find it. Container originally was "small" but is "micro" size now. Due to spotty reception, use the hint to pinpoint the cache location.
