What happens when a couple of
thirty-something geocaching guys in 4x4 street trucks that have
rarely seen anything but pavement get the urge to 'get a little mud
on the tires'? Well, this would be it. We had to bring along the
younger crowd to show us where to go, but we all had a great time
and decided to hide some caches while we were out!
DISCLAIMER: In our opinion, 4WD is
required to reach these caches. Your mileage may vary, but
we wouldn't attempt them with a 2WD vehicle. To our knowledge (and
by observation on the very busy Saturday when these were placed),
ATVs are NOT allowed in this area.
*** WATCH FOR HUNTERS DURING HUNTING
SEASON ***
The 'road' to all of the caches is very wide and there is almost
no chance of scratching your vehicle. The caches are all within a
few feet of the road and they are kid friendly. The only terrain
issue is getting to the actual cache site, but once you're there,
it's an easy grab and they are filled with kid stuff.
Each of the first three caches will have part of the code needed
to complete the fourth cache in the series written on the first
page of the log book.
Here are the other caches in the series:
Super Sandy Saturday #1 (GCZHH9)
Super Sandy Saturday #2 (GCZHHB)
Super Sandy Saturday #3 (GCZHHC)
Enjoy the hunt!
