This will be a simple cache for any experienced geocacher.
As the immortal Mamaloo said, "The trip from Redlands to Mammoth Ski Area needs some more geocaches." If that be the case, I will do my share to help the cause. This cache was placed just one month before Christmas, 2006 so why not maintain that theme?
The container has a Christmas motif and is full of decent sized swag, so help yourself. FTF can take the pick of the toys and goodies. Please hide it as well, or better than you found it.
Finding the cache will be simple, but I worry about you finding the safest road to get near the cache. There is a turn off directly east of the cache, but it is a hard turn with high speed cars bearing down behind you most of the time. I would prefer that you pull off the highway about one mile north where there is a large safe turnout. From there you will find a dirt road that parallels the highway but will be much safer than the direct route. After all, won't Christmas be better for you if you are out of the hospital by then?
