After hiding
The Dot Club, we looked around for another hiding spot for
another cache. After all, why make the trip out here for
only ONE new cache? Since we are both "ham radio
operators," we decided that the perfect compliment to the DOT club,
would be the DASH Cache.
Again, we've hidden it
somewhere out in the woods. It is a 6" square
Tupperware™ type container containing a log book, a few small
tradable items, and, the DASH
container! Open the DASH container, and inside you will
find lots of smaller "dashes." Take one, and you'll have
the perfect "accessory" to go along with your
"Dot!"
From the Hendersonville area,
take Hwy 64E out to Edneyville, and turn right onto Gilliam Mtn.
Rd. Follow it to the end, and turn left on Sugarloaf
Mtn. Rd. Stay on Sugarloaf Mtn. Rd (It makes a left turn
at Worlds Edge Rd.) until you arrive at the parking
coordinates. You will enter the woods on a rather
ill-defined old "logging road" or rough "path." Come in approx. 75'
to an old wood pile and then "favor your left." You will be about
130-150' from the cache. There is not a clear path to the cache
location, so just follow your GPS and make your way to
it. The cache container has a rather tight fitting lid,
so please be sure to reseal it completely, and rehide it well
before you leave. Thanks.
Enjoy the ride, enjoy the
scenery, and enjoy finding the cache!
