Geocache Description:

This cache should be a quick find, but watch out for briars and vines.  The caches is placed towards the rear of the cemetery to help it remain concealed and allow visitors to view many interesting things such as some majestic trees, unique wrought iron fences, and the graves of several veterans.

The Stringer Cemetery (also known as Lake Cemetery) is one of the few remnants from early settlement times that remains in use today in the Plymouth area.  I did not see any signs naming the cemetery, but did find some very interesting history.  The earliest stone is believed to be from 1841, but the first known burial was in 1836.  There is a large interesting stone to the north of the entrance (towards the hospital) that indicates the deceased passed away on a voyage from the United State to Europe (in 1875, I believe).  There appear to be many veterans at rest in this cemetery.

This cache should be an easy find.  It is a large ammo can to ensure the contents stay nice and dry.  Please, take the time to re-hide the cache so that it is not visible by muggles.  It has normal swag and a log book.  Sign the log to count the find.
