Geocache Description:

This can be accessed by 4X4 or a walk of 6/10 mile.

Ammo box with loads of stuff! Flash-card reader, key chain, Susan B. Anthony $1 coin for FTF, micro telephone, toys, new TB, 100 peso Mexican coin.
Park inside gate with 2 wheel, or jeep to 300 ft. of cache.
Follow road as it curves to the right and heads for the lake. Cross the earthen dam and find cache following your GPS. Enjoy a respite at one of the few small lakes in southern AZ.

ShadowAce asked for an explaination of the name of this cache and we must admit it was supposed to be placed in a slightly different area! There is a road nearby coming in from the north that is called "Ghost Dance Road" and that was our first choice of placement, but it turned out to be a tad too near traffic and too noticeable. So, we revised our choice, but we'd already fallen for the neat name ... so, Ghost Dance it is!

This cache is located on State Trust Land. The State Land Department has no problem with this activity, but asks that participants know the following: A Recreation Permit is required to legally access State Trust Land. These permits are easily obtained by phoning (602) 364-ASLD. Remember to stay on established roads and avoid any destruction of the natural resources. Website: (visit link)
