Geocache Description:

This multi has many stages, but don't let it fool you - it's not designed to be too time intensive.

This historical look at the town of Port Elgin was initially put together by a friend and fellow Guiding leader as a community scavenger hunt for her local Pathfinder unit. With some slight modifications I present it to you as a multi. Many of the stages are done by standing on a sidewalk (or parked in a vehicle) and looking at a building, or reading the sign on a building. There is no need to go onto the private properties and be careful at stage 3, the gps bounces badly with the surrounding buildings, you do not have to go on the road. The final is a small container suitable for little items only. The posted coordinates take you to the first stage. At the third stage there are 3 years around, but it's Bricker's numbers you need!
Record the year Port Elgin was constructed and add the digits together +1 = A.
Stage 2: N44 26.281 W081 23.176 - add the digits of the year up, then use the 2nd digit of the answer = B. (Apparently stage 2 is now behind some lattice - please atleast drive near, but until I can correct - 1880)
Stage 3: N44 26.174 W081 23.321 - note the last digit of the year =C.
Stage 4: N44 26.274 W081 23.338 - add the digits of the year +4 = D.
Stage 5: N44 26.094 W081 22.705 - add the digits of Falconer's year +49 = E.
Final N44 D0E W081 AB1C. Enjoy.
